Patron Responsibilities and Conduct Policy:

The Patterson Memorial Library is dedicated to providing the resources to meet the informational, educational, and recreational needs of our diverse community in a safe, welcoming atmosphere that ensures equitable access to these resources.  Consequently, it is a patron’s responsibility to maintain necessary and proper standards of behavior in the library in order to protect his/her individual rights and the rights and privileges of other patrons.

Mr Kent Performs Pirate StorytimeMr. Kent's Storytime is on vacation until September!  We will be back then and Storytime will be held each wednesday at 10:30am.  We read books, sing songs, do fingerplays and have a lot of fun!  Although the storytimes are aimed at toddlers and pre-K kids, everyone is welcome!  There is no sign up required.  Please bring your child(ren) and help them get an early start on literacy by listening to books and by reading to them!

Jerry AppsWhispers and Shadows: a naturalist's memoir will be officially released right here in our village on Wednesday, April 22, 2015.  Apps-e-tizers at 6pm til 6:30, Book Talk from 6:30 til 7:00, then we'll have a signing in the library from 7-7:45 or so.  We'll have plenty of books so no worries about us running out!

Just a reminder that this book has been made into a documentary by WPTV and in November, our little Village of Wild Rose will host the World Premier Showing at the Wild Rose High School Auditorium.
