This is it!  The BIG WEEK is here!  Busy does not begin to describe what's goping on!

Beginning Monday, Novemnber 16, 10am - Our new2nd Annual Silent Auction will be up and running for bids - the acution will run from Monday through Saturday, November 21.  WIneres will be notified November 21st, noon, at the end of the Annual Christmas Treasure and Bake Sale!   Bid on 6 different quilts and quilted items, a beautiful painting, a Portable Playpen by Graco, Jewelry and Mittens by Pat!

Wednesday, November 18 - Wild Rose High School - The Land with Jerry Apps!  6pm for Cider and Cookies; 6:30 for Thank yous and introductions; 7 pm for the film, The Land with Jerry Apps.  Book signing to follow the film in the atrium/lobby!

Saturday, November 21, 9am to Noon - Wild Rose Community Center - ANNUAL FRIENDS CHRISTMAS TREASURE AND BOOK SALE!

A little while ago, I sent the cassette tapes we have of several family's personal stories to Troy Reeves, Head of the Oral History Department at UW.  Mr. Reeves had his interns digitize the data, so SOON, we will have the stories up on this website, so your relatives all over the country will be able to click on your family's story, and here their relatives speaking, in their own voice, about life in Wild Rose "back in the day!"

We want YOUR story!  Everyone's story has merit and is important for future generations to hear!  If you'd like to know mopre about the Wild Rose Oral History Project, give me, Mr. Kent a call or drop by and talk with me!  We

Both of our book clubs have begun the new year!  Hop on board the reading train and come to a meeting!  Click on the book clubs tab for information and book lists.  The Wild Rose Readeers and The Ladies' Garden of Readin' both have their lists at the library.  As soon as I  can, the books will be displayed on the website under the Book Clubs tab on the navigation bar above.
