Director's Blog

Please watch Facebook for up to the minute closing information!

Winter has really smacked us down lately, but there is still a silver lining... The Packers are in it!

But a reminder - watch your step on our sidewalks and especially in the road - the ice is extremely dangerous.

Be careful out there!

The Friends of the Patterson Memorial Library have a super idea - Make this the "Appiest" Christmas ever!  The Friends have an escellent asortment of Jerry Apps books and DVDs available, including the newest DVD "The Land with Jerry Apps", which is only available here at The Patterson or by joining WPTV!  Jerry donates his time to create these amazing videos, and his only request to WPTV is that they allow the library here in Wild Rose to sell the DVDs as a fundraiser!

We also have Steve Apps and Jerry Apps' new book "Roshara Journal" signed by both men!  It is qa beutiful and pignant book about life and the seasons here in Waushara Journal on Jerry's land, which he calls Roshara.

Come in and fsee the large variety available and remember your purchase goes to the library Gift and Memorial Fund, to help with programming and planning for our future.

We will be here for you and your family - always.

Our Patron Policy and Procedures was adopted by the Library Board of Trusteees on June 22, 2015.  We are putting them on the website for the edification of our patrons.

Mr Kent Performs Pirate StorytimeMr. Kent's Storytime is on vacation until September!  We will be back then and Storytime will be held each wednesday at 10:30am.  We read books, sing songs, do fingerplays and have a lot of fun!  Although the storytimes are aimed at toddlers and pre-K kids, everyone is welcome!  There is no sign up required.  Please bring your child(ren) and help them get an early start on literacy by listening to books and by reading to them!
