Let's Get Ready to GARDEN!

Get 'em before they're gone!

Our new and (I feel) improved seed library is open for business.  It's called the seed library at The Patterson.   Stop in, pick out your seed packets (leave some for others) and then get ready to garden!

This year, we're asking you to come back, if you take seeds, and jattend a seed saving program, where we'll teach you how to save seed for next year's crops!  This will cut down our expenses and hoperfully help make the program self-sustaining.  We are very fortunate that this year, the Shar-a Gardeners, the Master Gardeners Association of Waushara COunty, are donating $100 towards the cost of books, seeds, etc.!

Our hope is that we will get these seeds out to the people that can really use the seeds to grow fresh flowers and vegetables for their tables, thus making their grocery budget go a lot farther!  If you know anyone who would benefit, especially those on a fixed income, low income or bigger families that just need a little help - please let them know about the seed library!  Everyone in our communtiy wins when we're healthier.

The Patterson Memorial Library is open from 10-6 Monday through Friday and Saturday 9-1.  For more information or directions to the library call 920-622-3835.
