25th Annual Plant Book and Bake Sale a Great Success!

It was a cold, blustery day -but a bustling crowd of people showed up to support their library on Saturday, May 11th!  Dozens of volunteers donated garden perennials, delicious baked goods and their time to help out with the event.  The plants were absolutey stunning and HUGE!  Spirits were high, and sales were fantastic!

The Friends of the Library raised over $1400.00 to be used for the Summer Library Program and Summer reading Program, with the excess  going to the After School Program.

Thanks so much to everyone who volunteered or donated or helped in any way - and thanks especially to everyone who came out on an icky day to support the library!  Special thanks to Jane Dix, President of the Friends, Linda Steffen and Mary Bruyette!
