Margaret L. Walters June 26, 1905 - June 15, 2012
I would like to thank everyone who has donated to the library in the memory of Margaret Walters. While I never got the chance to meet Margaret, I know the community loved her as much as she loved the community.
Even though she has left us physically, her memory will last forever in the village, around the country and, of course, here at Patterson Memorial Library, one of her favorite places in the village.
Margaret loved the library and knew its value to the community - especially to the young people. As a teacher, Margaret knew the importance of early literacy and of becoming a life-long reader. Her support of the library and the after-school program is truly a wonderful gift to us all here in Wild Rose.
Margaret gave much to the library and even in passing, left us much. She truly embodies the spirit of the Patterson Memorial Library.
Thank You, Margaret for your lifetime of caring for all of us.
