Autumn Falls about us!

Well, it's Autumn!   It finally feels a little like it, and some of the leaves in the village are beginning to turn, and fall to the ground!

Things are settling in around the library - Mr. Kent's Storytime is going quite well with some old friends and some new friends as well!  I encourage you to bring your little ones - any ages - to Storytime.  We read books, sing songs, do fingerplays, and create some kind of craft.  We also have a small treat, like cookies and milk or juice!

Recently, the Friends and Volunteers of the Patterson Memorial Library got together for a little potluck picnic.  We had a wonderful time and 39 people enjoyed great food and fellowship!  The FPML are re-organizing a bit, so that at some point they may apply for 501 3(c) status, and just to help with organizing fund raising events and distributing funds for library projects, needs and for the future health of the library.  If you missed the potluck and want to be a member, please contact me (Kent Barnard) at the library.  Everyone needs friends, and libraries are no exception!
