Our fabulous Friends group is holding an organizational and informational meeting on Tuesday night, October 20 at 6pm. Refreshments will be served, and everyone is enncouraged to attend, as we will be discussing our two upcoming Very Important Events - the World Premiere of the new Wisconsin Public TV film: The Land with Jerry Apps to be held at the High School Auditorium Wednesday, November 18, and that weekend the Annual Christmas Sale will be held on Saturday, November 21 from 9am to 12pm. We need to organize these events and volunteeers are needed to help with baking, cashiering, set-up and clean-up.
Thursday, November 19 there will be a program on How to Pressure Can Meat by Maryann Schilling in the Community Center - tthe time will be posted soon! If you have a best time for you, please letme (Kent) know at the library as soon as you can. There will be a sign-up sheet for this class, and we'll ask everyone to bring some raw meat to can!
