Spring (we hope) has sprung! The last bonus snowfall has fallen (we hpe!), and we are ready for the little buds to pop out and for spring to green up Wisconsin!
Everyone around here knows Jerry Apps, at least his name, if not the man personally. Well, we here at the Patterson are blessed to have Jerry as our guardian angel and benefactor. Jerry teaches a workshop up north in Door County on Telling Your Story, and he has asked to teach one here in Wild Rose for a couple of reasons: first, Jerry believes everyone has a story and that story is important. It is important to your family and to your family history. Second, you are the only one who knows your personal histroy, so you have to be the one to save it!
Do you have a copy of the Purple and Gold; The Rose or The Wildcat annual yearbook from Wild Rose High School you'd like to donate to the library? We are missing the following years: 1934, 1935, 1937, 1938,1953, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 2004-20015.
These are valuable resources that really show the history of Wild Rose through it's citizens, so I'd really like to have a full set! Just bring it by the library and thanks so much!
