Next Saturday!!! The Annual Mother's Day Plant, Book and Bake Sale!

Yes, as hard as it is to believe, it is almost Mother's Day!  Next Saturday the 13, is the Friends' Huge Plant, Book & Bake sale - featuring 12" potted plants from Heidi A. Heath Farms in Coloma.  Now, at any garden store, you'd pay upwards of $50.00 for plants like this, but we've got 'em priced at $25.00 each!

We also have some very reasonably priced houseplants and perennials donated by local gardeners, as well as delicious baked treats.  The baked treats are all verified personally as to their deliciousness by an expert - me!

Mr Kent's Storytime is a fun half hour every Wednesday from 10:30am to about 11:00am.  We read books, do counting, sing songs and fingerplays, and then we do a craft and end with a snack!

Join us and get your child reading with you!

Once again our Hometown Hero, author Jerry Apps, returns to teach his very popular course in Telling Your Story on April 8th from 9-noon.  Register at the library or by calling 920-622-3835.  Cost is $40.00 and includes a copy of Jerry's book, Telling Your Story.  All proceeds go to purchasing technology for the library and for adult programming.

"Everyone has a story and everyone's story is important!" says Jerry, "you may not think your story is worth telling but your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will!"

Come learn how to put your story down on paper, to weave your very own tale and how to keep your essence, your being, in your story!

There are many resources senior citizens may turn to on the internet.  Here are a few links to help out - if you need assistance with your computer, please stop by the library and we'll be happy to help you "surf the web!"  Look for computer classes coming soon to your Wild Rose library!
